Hy my name’s Jason Benrubi im based out of Philadelphia and I’m the founder and artist of Quasi-Man.
What was the inspiration for this piece?
QUASi-Man is inspired by my personal struggles with mental health and using art as a therapy. I rediscovered QUASi-man going through my old sketchbooks and felt really connected to the character. Quasi-Man is an oddball that aspires to greatness but often struggles with mental health and social insecurities.
How long have you been creating in the digital realm?
I have been creating NFTs since March 2021.
Can you tell us about your workflow?
For most of my work I make physical paintings and use digital effects to edit them, however Quasi Man is fully digital made using photoshop and chainchamps PFP making tools.
Who are your artistic influences?
I’m a big fan of Cy Twombly, Takashi Murakami , Jean-Michel Basquiat.
What got you interested in NFTs/Crypto Art/Digital Collectibles?
I’ve always loved collectibles and gaming so initially what got me in was cryptokitties and play to earn gaming.
